The North America version also has a bigger battery—a 91 kWh battery—and two configurations, a single electric motor rear wheel drive model with 282 horsepower and an available 330 hp dual motor all-wheel drive model.

The rear mounted motor has 406 lb-ft of torque and a one-speed transmission. This model can travel up to an electronically-limited 99 mph, a few miles faster than the European ID.Buzz’s 90 mph top speed.

The ID.Buzz interior is bright and cheerful, with an available panoramic glass sunroof with electrochromic tinting that goes from clear to opaque with the touch of a button. The second row has sliding windows that open and close at the push of a button.

Why Volkswagen Oil Changes Matter for Your Engine

You’ve certainly heard it before—regular maintenance is one of the simplest ways to protect the vehicle you invested in. But it’s also widely put off or outright ignored. Your Volkswagen’s oil changes are one of the most important services on that list. Whether you're driving a Jetta through your daily commute or loading up a 2026 Atlas for a weekend trip beyond Monroeville, New Jersey, staying on schedule with oil changes keeps your engine healthy and your ride smooth. Necessary Care A Volkswagen oil change does more than just swap out old fluid. Fresh oil lubricates your engine's moving parts, reduces heat buildup, and helps prevent long-term wear. Over time, oil breaks down and collects contaminants that can reduce engine efficiency. Skipping or delaying this service puts unnecessary strain on your engine and can lead to costly repairs down the road, or even engine seizure. Volkswagen engines are precision-engineered, which means they benefit from using the right type and grade of oil. Not all oils are created equal, and using the correct specification matters for performance and longevity. How Often Should You Get a Volkswagen Oil Change? Most modern Volkswagen models use a Flexible Oil Life Monitoring system that tracks your driving habits and engine conditions. It will let you know exactly when an oil change is due, taking the guesswork out of scheduling and ensuring you're not changing your oil too early or waiting too long. That said, a general guideline for many VW models using full synthetic oil is somewhere between 5,000 and 10,000 miles, depending on your driving conditions and model year. Your owner's manual is always the best place to confirm the interval for your specific vehicle. Signs Your VW Might Need an Oil Change Sooner Of course, if your Volkswagen’s oil change warning light pops on, that’s the most obvious signal, but there are other things to watch for between scheduled services. Check the dipstick—if your oil looks dark and gritty, it’s time for a change. Also, if your engine sounds louder than usual or you detect a burning smell, it's worth having your vehicle looked at sooner rather than later. Drivers in Monroeville, NJ, who put on a lot of highway miles or do frequent short trips may find their oil degrades faster than average. Conditions like extreme heat or towing can also shorten the interval between changes, as well as stop-and-go traffic. Choosing the Right Place for Volkswagen Service and Parts When it comes to getting your Volkswagen oil change done right, where you go matters. Trained technicians who specialize in Volkswagen vehicles understand the specific requirements of each model, from the correct oil specification to the right filter. Using genuine Volkswagen service and parts helps ensure quality as well as the knowledge that your vehicle is running as it was designed to. This also preserves your warranty coverage—so ensure you know your warranty terms. Using a general maintenance technician who knows a wide range of vehicles—not necessarily the depth of your specific model—can’t provide the exact manufacturer-recommended service, more often than not. A VW-focused service center will also use manufacturer-approved procedures and can flag any other maintenance needs while your vehicle is in for service. This kind of attention to detail pays off over the life of your vehicle. What to Expect During a VW Oil Change Service A standard Volkswagen oil change typically includes draining the old oil, replacing the oil filter, and refilling the engine with fresh oil that meets VW's specifications. Many service visits also include a basic inspection of key components like fluid levels, tire pressure, and belts. It's a quick service that makes a real difference in how your vehicle performs day to day. Volkswagen also highlights lower maintenance costs as a point of pride for the brand, so keeping up with routine services like oil changes is a smart way to stay ahead of bigger expenses. Visit VW of Salem County for Your Next Oil Change If your VW is due for service, the team at VW of Salem County is ready to help. Drivers throughout Monroeville, NJ, can count on knowledgeable certified technicians and genuine Volkswagen service and parts to keep their vehicles running the way they were designed to. Change Your Oil With Us: Your Local Volkswagen Experts

It’s Time For A Volkswagen Oil Change: Where Should You Go? Are you looking for one of the top service centers to help with your Volkswagen Oil Change? We’ve got you covered, as all our technicians are certified and factory-trained, which means our experts know VW vehicles inside and out, including how much oil your ride needs alongside the viscosity grade and exact measurements. But are you curious how often you should get an oil change or how this service works? Stick with us today as we walk through the basics—and schedule your oil change online today at Volkswagen of Salem County, your trusted Volkswagen service center in Monroeville, NJ. But First…When Should You Change The Oil In A VW? Have you ever wondered about the secret to knowing when it’s time for an oil change in your Volkswagen vehicle? If you search online, the answer can feel more confusing than ever, as some numbers are as low as 3,000 miles while others seem absurdly high. Thankfully, you’re usually safe if you stick with lower mileage markers—but the general rule of thumb is roughly every 10,000 miles to help your ride continue to cruise in peak shape. But what if you don’t drive often? If you typically cruise 1000-2000 miles annually, you’ll want to schedule at least one oil change per year—especially since your current oil will change consistency and viscosity levels over time, which could impact your ride quality if not replaced. Are Oil Changes Worth The Hype? When it comes to car services, oil changes rank near the top of the most critical—and you’ll never want to skip this maintenance if given the choice. After all, an oil change lubricates your motor to help reduce the friction caused from metal components scraping against each other, which helps extend your engine life as long as possible. On the other hand, skipping this service is one of the fastest ways for your ride to spiral into a slippery slope of ensuing issues. Also, if you cruise with a performance-heavy model, like taking your Volkswagen Golf GTI to the track or adventuring in your Atlas, the oil helps your motor optimally cool, further helping enhance your engine life. Keep The Exhilaration Strong: Schedule Your Oil Change Don’t compromise when it comes to your auto care—instead, help keep your drives in peak shape by scheduling your oil change service at Volkswagen of Salem County, proudly serving the Camden and Vineland area. We’re also here for all your questions, so let us know if you need assistance when you try to schedule an appointment or if you want to know some more of our oil change tips—it’s the start of how we’ll step up for you.
